The very breath that God gives us should be used to praise Him.  As long as we live we should praise our Creator.  We should deny our self and take up our cross and follow Him.  By allowing God to lead us in everything we do, we become closer to Him, we become the children of God.  Thus we our L E D.

 

 L E D is a contemporary worship band. The band includes Kyle Berry, Christi Sturdy, Carl Harness, Ken Harness, my wife Jennifer and yours truly.  We sing and play cover music from various contemporary Christian artists such as FFH, Third Day, Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Mark Schultz, Michael W. Smith, MercyMe, Rush of Fools and many more.

 

We’re available for concerts, revivals, and other special events.  We do not charge a dime.  Although not required, we will accept love offerings and donations.

 

Back in 2003, Jennifer and I originally started work on trying to form a youth praise team at our church. God soon guided us to form our own group. We brought on Kyle Berry (one of our youth at that time) and Kristen Ballard , a college student at our church.  Thus began our worship ministry as 24Seven.  We sang together for the next two years, performing at different churches, events, and leading praise and worship for our youth services.  We also sang most Sundays at our local church.  

 

Kristen soon graduated from college, married and embarked on a new journey in life.  As we hated to see her leave 24Seven, we knew that God had a plan for both her life and our group.

 

Kyle, Jennifer, and I continued on as 24Seven.  In the summer of 2006 we started seriously thinking about changing the name of our group. As the fall of 2006 rolled around L E D was born.  We also invited Christi Sturdy to join our group.  

 

In the summer of 2007 we asked Carl Harness, a fellow Youth Minister, and his son Ken to join our band as the basest and drummer. And here we are now.  So that’s a brief history of L E D.
